This is a month for many firsts. Kai started sucking his right thumb while simultaneously stroking his left ear. He went for his first swim at the Glenwood Springs pool. He said it was like taking his favorite bath, but much more fun because he could kick real big and splash around! He went on his first bike ride in his new trailer and LOVED it. He experienced his first Autumn by going on numerous hikes and traveling to Durango to his cabin. Kai's Nana and Grandaddy from Texas met us at the cabin and we had a wonderful visit. Kai also helped his mamma celebrate her 33rd year of life! Happy Birthday! A wonderful year already!!
Kai continues to grow rapidly as you can see from these pictures. He is probably around 18 pounds. We find out on Oct. 11th. We will keep you posted!
