Dear Friends and Family,
As always our months have been filled with much fun and activity. October brought us an early batch of snow and Kai's favorite celebration thus far - HALLOWEEN TIME! He wanted to be a Ghosty Gnome...hmmmm. We didn't really think he would know the difference if we just got him the Gnome costume, so a Gnome family we were. Kai was very excited. After one extended time of wearing his hat and beard around (no camera for that obviously), we were lucky to get him to put it on for more than 2 seconds for a picture.
Skipping ahead to Thanksgiving, we went to the desert and stayed at a friend's yurt. The weather was absolutely beautiful and warm during the day and bone chilling at night. Kai enjoyed exploring around looking for cacti, lizards, scorpions, hela monsters and rattle snakes, all things he thought we would see based on a desert book he has. So cute!
Kai has discovered dinosaurs and can say all their names and tell you which ones are which. His favorite is ankliosaurus. I hope I spelled it correctly. Every night he asks us to tell him a story with ankliosaurus, Kai Fletcher Jackson, helicopter and Farmer Bill in it. So he has been on many adventures with his friend Ankliosaurus.
Kai's favorite playtime activity is to look for leopards, tigers, lions and wizards with pointy hats. Oh and bats too. He looks in every nook and cranny for these sneaky creatures.
Next week we head to Dallas to drop Kai off with Nana and Grandaddy for 15 days while mama and papa head to India. Our next post should be exciting.
Wishing you all wonderful Holidays.
Love from us.
