Happy July!
It has been hotter than 6 feet up a bull's ass here in Colorado. HOT and DRY. As I am sure you all know, many fires have been spreading across the state. It is sad and terrifying. Last week we got a couple days of needed rain and the temps dropped a good bit. We hope we will get more of that soon.
The boys, as you can see are doing great. Both are hilarious and always into something. Summer time has meant a lot of hikes to the river, going to the pool, eating Popsicles and trying to stay cool.
Kai's newest love is The Hobbit. Jeff started reading him that book. Perhaps we will have to have a hobbit party in celebration on Hobbit's day- Sept. 22nd! Who knew there was actually a hobbit's day? Check it out! http://www.tolkienlibrary.com/press/1009-Party_like_a_hobbit.php
I think Isaac is truly a hobbit. He wakes up and has a little snack while I am cooking breakfast (his 1st breakfast), and then he has the breakfast I make (his 2nd breakfast), and then has another snack shortly after before his nap (3rd breakfast). Hobbit written all over him. His favorite drink is tea juice. I make it out of apple juice and peppermint tea. It is so refreshing and thirst quenching with this heat. Isaac calls it "chee chuice."
I have two weeks off right now which is a nice break from work. I have been doing summer therapy work with 4 kiddos. The boys and I are off to Charleston to meet my sisters for a beach week. Please let the temps drop there!
Jeff is doing great. He is in the process of training to guide a buddy up El Cap. He will do that in October and is super psyched.
Hoping you all are well. Lots of love from our clan to yours,
Hannah and boys!
